Banks start receiving Hajj applications

MULTAN: The process of receiving Hajj applications has begun and different banks set up special counters to facilitate the applicants.

Director Hajj Multan Rehan Abbas Khokhar inaugurated Hajj counter at HBL Regional Office, here on Monday.

The Hajj applications will be received till January 24.

Rehan Abbas Khokhar maintained that the aspirants can check their names through online system on January 26. There would be computerized balloting process, he added.

The Director Hajj Multan observed that the government used to extend best services towards pilgrims and thus the government scheme become first choice of people. He added that the best arrangements would be made for the intending pilgrims.

Rehan Abbas further informed that trained officials had been deputed at the counters to fill Hajj forms.

On this occasion, senior regional chief manager Iqbal Mehmood Qazi, regional operation chief Fozia Janjoa and others were also present.
