Pak-Saudi JMC a good opportunity to promote economic cooperation, Rana Afzal informs FPCCI
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan Monday informed the delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) about opportunities offered by upcoming Pak-Saudi Joint Ministerial Conference (JMC).
“The occasion shall afford us an opportunity to further strengthen economic cooperation and business linkages between the two brotherly countries,” he said while talking to FPCCI delegation that called on him under the leadership of its President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour.
The delegation among others included Adeel Rauf, Atif Ikram Sheikh, Mian Shaukat, Malik Sohail Hussain, Ch. Javed Iqbal and Mr. Karim Aziz Malik.
The Minister welcomed the delegation, expressing appreciation of the business community’s support for endeavours in strengthening of economy.
The Minister stated that it had been his utmost desire to project the business opportunities and investment potential of Pakistan to the rest of the World.
The visiting delegation wished all success for the upcoming Pak-Saudi JMC session.
The delegation also praised the efforts of the government for eradicating the scourge of extremism.
The eradication of terrorism had a positive impact on overall security environment and helped businesses to flourish, it added.
