China November coal imports hit record high

coalBEIJING: China imported a record 22.14 million tonnes of coal in November, beating the previous highest volume of 19.1 million tonnes set in September, the 21th Century Business Herald said in a report.

The November volume was 41 percent higher than in October and nearly 60 percent more than a year earlier, based on earlier customs data.
