More dengue cases in Karachi

KARACHI: As many as 24 more dengue fever cases were reported throughout Karachi last week, taking the number of reported cases to 47 in the city since the 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 24 new dengue fever cases surfaced across the city January 08 to January 15, 2018.

A total 48 cases have been reported throughout Sindh province out of 47 in Karachi and one from rest of province.

In 2017, a total 2,927 dengue cases had reported across the Sindh province out of which 12 died from this fever.
