Published January 15, 2018 Updated January 15, 2018 02:06pm

BUDAPEST: Hungary's construction sector output rose by 30.7 percent in November from a low base registered a year earlier after a 38.1 percent annual increase in October, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Monday.

The KSH said the rise could be seen both in buildings, where the construction of industrial facilities was the main driver alongside residential, office and education buildings, and in other facilities like road and rail construction.

The volume of new orders rose by 11.7 percent in November from the same month a year earlier, while the stock of orders at the end of the month was 110.3 percent above last year's low base.
