PPP worked for women uplift: Khoso

SUKKUR: PPP Ladies Wing leader Sukkur chapter and  social activists Ms Shaitsa Khoso has said the provincial government took practical steps to bring women into the mainstream and resolved their problems during the last over four and half years.

This she said while speaking at a function after distributing wheelchairs among deserving disable people in front of Sukkur Press Club here on Monday.

The wheelchairs were donated by a notable Muhammad Deen. Ms Khoso said NGOs should extend cooperation to government to alleviate poverty and fulfill the needs of poor people. She said women should play their role to reform society.
