Pakistan wants sustainable peace in Afghanistan: Khurram

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Engr Khurram Dastgir Khan said Pakistan wanted sustainable peace in Afghanistan.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan and United States (US) had common goals for upholding peace in Afghanistan.

The minister said without the cooperation of Pakistan, United States could not operate in the region to achieve its desirous results.

He said Pakistan had been fighting successful war against terrorism. Pakistan had great importance among Muslim countries because of its super power capabilities.
