KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 23,672.40 points with a negative change of -357.13 and volume of 157,981,600 shares. High and Low were 24,039.03 and 23,553.87 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 238,673,330 shares. Total companies traded were 368 of which 80 were positive, 276 were negative and 12 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 50,063,000 shares. It was followed by Engineering with a total traded volume of 22,780,000 shares.
