ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador to Oman Ali Javed has arranged the 'Civil Societies Dialogue', an interactive full spectrum initiative launched in 2016 at the Pakistan House, and awarded `Certificates of Excellence' to acknowledge Omani nationals for their services in promoting bilateral understanding and friendship between the two countries.

The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the guests for their contributions to ‘Islamic Solidarity Magazine’ as its "Special Edition - National Day of Oman" was simultaneously released in both capitals in December last in Urdu and Arabic languages, said a message received here from Oman Friday.

The envoy appreciated Ameer Hamza, Editor of the Magazine and an enterprising young Pakistani residing in Muscat, for promoting intellectual exchanges and celebrating National Day of Oman via Special Edition of the Magazine.

Recipients of the certificates included, Sheikh Hatim Al Taie, Member State Council & Chairman Al Roya Group, Dr Saeed Al Mamari, Adviser Ministry of Endowment & Religious Affairs, Mohamed Issa Al Zadjali, Chairman Muscat Media Group, Eman Bint e Rashid Al Ghaftiyah, Chairperson Omani Women's Association, Maryam Zadjali, President Omani Society of Fine Arts, Awad bin Saeed Baquwair, Chairman Oman Journalist Association, Shaikh Said Saqlawi, President Oman Society for Writers & Literati, Dr Muhammad Al Zaini, Professor of Philosophy, Dr Sulaitnan AI Hussani, Writer, Sheikh Abdullah Olyan, Journalist, Dr Muhammad Al Harthi, Sultan Qaboos Center for Culture & Science, Dr Tahira Al Lwatiyah, Writer/Columnist, Sheikha Sarah All Albrakyah, Poet/Columnist, Shaikh Hilal Hassan Al Lawati, Intellectual, Dr. Saif Al Hadi, Anchor Person/Writer, Salim Al Jahwari, Senior Journalist & Editor Oman Daily and Ameer Hamza.

A unique and extraordinary platform 'Civil Societies Dialogue' was conceived by Ali Javed. Theme for the year 2017 was "Peace for Prosperity" whereas in 2016 the inaugural session was themed `Commonality of Strategic Vision.”
