A few changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday as most the buyers kept to the sidelines to see prices come down to their expectations, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old and new Bardan gained Rs 5 to Rs 2636 and 2650, gur low quality fell sharply by Rs 500 to Rs 6000 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 7500, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice counter Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 3325-3350, other items retained overnight levels, they said. On the seed sector cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh was down by Rs 50 to Rs 1050 and Rs 1150, they said. On the grams side prices did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
