KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 24,195.28 points with a positive change of 632.02 and volume of 210,145,900 shares. High and Low were 24,236.43 and 23,563.26 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 2 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 327,761,830 shares. Total companies traded were 400 of which 316 were positive, 65 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 42,076,600 shares. It was followed by Engineering with a total traded volume of 40,354,500 shares.
