KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 23,794.99 points with a positive change of 440.76 and volume of 178,894,700 shares. High and Low were 23,940.96 and 23,351.83 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 6 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 270,611,900 shares. Total companies traded were 394 of which 295 were positive, 78 were negative and 21 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 50,554,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 31,511,100 shares.
