International moot on Faiz from September 6 at KU: Indo-Pak scholars to present papers

Prominent six Indian and several Pakistani scholars will present their papers in a three-day international conference on famous poet of Pakistan, Faiz Ahmed Faiz to commemorate his birth-day on September 6 and 7, at the University of Karachi.
The event is being organised by Pakistan Study Centre, University of Karachi in collaboration with Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER) and Jinnah Medical and Dental College (JMDC), Karachi, on Faiz Ahmed Faiz, to commemorate the birth centenary of the great poet.
The Conference would be held on September 6 and 7 in different sessions in the Karachi University, said a statement.
Vice Chancellor, University of Karachi Professor Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui will preside the inaugural session of the moot in the Arts Auditorium of the KU at 10 am on September 6 (tomorrow).
Chairman, National Language Authority, Islamabad, Dr Anwaar Ahmed will present the key-note address, while six Indian and several Pakistani scholars will present their papers in the Conference.
