Expressing concerns about the prevailing security situation in Karachi, Pakistan Army says that every type of violence grappling the city of the Quaid should end, a private TV channel reported. In an interview with British broadcaster on Saturday, DG ISPR Athar Abbas said law and order situation in Karachi badly affects the entire country.
According to him, rangers are acting in Karachi on the basis of information provided by intelligence agencies. Major General Abbas said it was the duty of law enforcement agencies to take indiscriminate action against the culprits and bring them to justice, the channel added.
