Capital City Police Officer, Ahmad Raza Tahir has appreciated the efficient services of the city's police and applauded them for their performance on Eid-ul-Fitr in order to ensure peaceful and dignified celebrations on the festive occasion. CCPO said that owing to the efficiency and determination of Lahore Police, coupled with the blessing of Allah Almighty, the Eid-ul-Fitr passed peacefully.
He said the citizens of Lahore are not only satisfied with the performance of police, but are proud of it. He called upon the officers and officials to ensure performance of their duty in the similar dedicated, efficient and hardworking manner. He appreciated traffic officers and wardens who ensured smooth flow of traffic to the maximum possible level by ensuring that no traffic jam takes place in the city. He also thanked the 'zinda dilan-e-Lahore' for extending their wholehearted co-operation for maintenance of law and order and implementation of the traffic plan.
Ahmad Raza Tahir said that under the current circumstances, Lahore Police should keep its alert level to the maximum level. He also appealed to the people to keep a watchful eye on their immediate surroundings and immediately inform emergency control 15, Qurban Control, 99200269, Traffic Control 99201910 in case they watch any suspicious thing, person or activity. This, he added, will be their great service rendered to the nation and the city, whereas the name of the informant will be kept secret.
