Secretary Information Senator, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Mushahid Ullah Khan on Wednesday said PPP leadership is showing non-serious attitude on all vital national and international issues therefore the nation is facing many challenges. Talking to journalists at an iftar reception in Lahore, the PML-N leader said the PML-N would not allow anyone to act against the national interests and take unconstitutional or illegal steps.
He said the PPP government lacked ability to run the state affairs. The PML-N leader said that the PPP leaders are misleading the people on important issue of creation of new provinces. He was of the view that creation of new provinces is a very sensitive matter and demands thorough consideration before taking any decision. "Therefore, the PML-N, on the issue of new provinces, formed a committee that recommended creation of a national commission to look into pros and cons of this issue," he said.
Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan said that the situation in Balochistan is critical. He said it is a pity that rulers did not take things seriously and raised mere slogans instead of addressing the core issues. He said that the PML-N is practicing politics based on principles in order to secure the future of coming generations.
There is clear-cut difference in the leadership of PPP and the PML-N and in future elections, people would decide either they need Asif Ali Zardari or Nawaz Sharif. He said that PPP leaders are involved in massive corruption while on the contrary; the PML-N leaders are whole-heartedly serving the people. He mentioned about Ashiana Housing Scheme and other public welfare projects.
Quoting the statement of MQM leader Altaf Hussein, the PML-N leader said that President Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani and Interior Minister Rehman Malik are patronising the corrupt elements. "Due to wrong policies of PPP leadership, there is strong resentment against the PPP in Sindh while strong voices are being raised in Balochistan," he said.
