Shutter down against restoration of LG system

A 'shutter down' was observed in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jaccababd, Kashmore, Ghotki, Nushehroferoze on Saturday against restoration of the local government system in the province. The business activities remained suspended and there was thin traffic on the roads.
The parties that gave the strike call were: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Sindh United Party, Sindh National Front, Jeay Sindh Tehrik, Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party and Awami Jamhoori Party. Police have detained over 59 people while conducting search operation in different areas of the Khairpur, Shikarpur and other areas.
