Chief Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain has felicitated Pakistanis throughout the world on the 64th Foundation Day of the country. In his message on Saturday, Altaf said that freedom is a great gift and living nations must value their freedom. He said that the purposes for which the founding fathers of the country started the Pakistan Movement and laid down the sacrifices of millions of lives had not been fulfilled as yet.
He observed that the country has been in the menacing grip of the age-old feudal system and the capitalist system due to which the fruits of freedom and democracy have not reached 180 million people of Pakistan. MQM chief stressed that every Pakistani must make a resolve today that he would play an active role in effacing the decadent feudal system and empowering the common people and promoting democracy in the country. He urged the students to concentrate on their studies for progress became the fate of those nations only who equipped themselves with knowledge.
