Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced cash award of rupees three million for Pakistan U-16 football team and officials for wining SAFF U-16 Soccer Championship. A spokesman of PFF said that announcement of cash award of rupees three million is a benevolent act of President PFF, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat that will boost moral of the team.
Expressing his views, Faisal Hayat said that U-16 players' historical win has not only brought laurels to the game of football but has also made the nation proud by twice beating the Indian team. No doubt, this is a great victory for Pakistan, he added.
Meanwhile, PFF has requested Prime Minister of Pakistan, chief ministers of all provinces and multinational institutions, banks and philanthropists to come forward and encourage the young national heroes by announcing attractive cash awards, so that these players continue shining, in their humble way, the name of the country.
