Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has failed to submit the details of the movable and immovable property of former military dictator Pervez Musharraf and sought more time from the court to collect the details from different organisations. The Anti Terrorist Court (ATC) No III, Shahid Rafiq resumed the hearing of the high profile murder of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and 26 other persons and asked the FIA to submit the details of property belonging to Pervez Musharraf.
The Special Prosecutor of the FIA informed the court that they are still waiting for response from General Headquarters (GHQ), Cantonment Boards and Defence Housing Authority regarding the details of the property of Pervez Musharraf. The learned judge accepted the plea of the prosecution and adjourned the hearing till August 13, before it directed the prosecution to ensure submission of complete details on next hearing.
The learned judge accepted the plea of the defence counsel of two accused police officers and directed the investigation agency to provide copies of the statement of SSP Operations Rawalpindi Yaseen Farooq to counsel of the accused. Earlier the court was informed that Pervez Musharraf, possesses a 1000 sq. ft plot in a Gwadar Housing Scheme and a 8-acre Farm House in Chak Shahzad Islamabad while details regarding other property are still awaiting.
