SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up 0.23 percent in morning trade Friday on bargain hunting after recent falls but lingering concerns over the slowing domestic economy capped gains, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, added 5.01 points to 2,185.91.
