US MIDDAY: corn, soya and wheat drop

Forecasts for improving crop weather in the US Midwest, as well as bearish outside markets such as a firm dollar and falling crude oil market, weighed on Chicago Board of Trade corn and soyabean futures early on Thursday, traders said. Wheat futures also fell, following the drop in corn prices. Increased competition on the export market added further pressure.
At 9:34 am (1434 GMT), CBOT December corn was down 9-1/2 cents at $7.03-1/2 a bushel. CBOT November soyabeans dropped 15-3/4 cents to $13.57-1/4 a bushel and CBOT September wheat fell 14 cents to $6.96-1/2 a bushel.
