Shell Pakistan Ltd, the premier Oil and Lubricants Company, awarded a tractor on Wednesday to one of the winner's of the lucky draw for its promotional campaign, which aimed to give its valuable end consumers a chance to participate and win multitude of prizes. This promotional campaign concluded on June 30th, 2011 during which 10 tractors and 90 motorcycles along with numerous prizes were given out through lucky draws.
This campaign is also part of Shell's commitment to help farmers embrace the everyday challenges and opportunities of agriculture and encourage involvement of the local people for self empowerment throughout Pakistan by making Tractors a part of the lucky draw winnings.
Wazeer Ali Ajjan from Kandirao, Sukkur who was the lucky recipient of the tractor under the Shell Rimula campaign commented on the occasion, "I am extremely grateful to Shell Rimula for providing me this opportunity to participate and win such a valuable prize. Earlier I had to rent a tractor every season, which was very expensive and time consuming for me. Thanks to Shell, now I have my very own tractor that I can use to improve my business and also rent out to other farmers in my area and help better their livelihood. I will be able to save more money and send my children to school to get good education".-PR
