FBR transfers, postings

In pursuance of Establishment Division notification, Khawaja Shaukat Ali BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service has assumed the charge of the post of Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from July 27, 2011. In this regard, the FBR issued a notification here on Friday.
Dr Amna Saeed Khalifa, Director General (Strategic Planning & Statistics) (MP-I Scale), FBR (HQ), Islamabad has been posted as Project Director, Tax Administration Reforms Project, FBR with effect from April 28, 2011 and until further orders. This supersedes Board's Office Order of July 6, 2011 and April 28, 2011. This issues with the approval of Competent Authority. She is also dealing with the issues relating to the sales tax refunds under the Expeditious Refund System (ERS).
According to another notification, the FBR has transferred and posted four officials of Inland Revenue Service (Grade-17 to 18) with immediate effect. Dr Sajid Hussain Arain (Inland Revenue Service (BS-18), Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office III, Karachi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office-II, Karachi; Abdul Qadeer Abbasi (Inland Revenue Service (BS-18) from Second Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad to Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office II, Karachi; Shoukat Ali (Inland Revenue Service (BS-17) from Assistant Commissioner, Regional Tax Office II, Karachi to Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office I, Karachi and Ahmed Ali Mukhtiar (Inland Revenue Service(BS-17), Assistant Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Sukkur has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office Ill, Karachi.
