14 Indian fishermen released

Published Updated

Following the latest efforts of newly appointed Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to strengthen friendly relationship with neighbouring country, some 14 Indian fishermen, who were found violating Pakistani territory, have been released from Malir jail on Thursday.
According to official sources, Pakistan has shown its keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with India. They said that we have firm believe that every issue, which has presently become an apple of discord between these two countries, should be resolved on table not at battlefield.
With the hope to receive reciprocal response from Indian authority, the Pakistan government has issued release order of 14 Indian fishermen, they maintained. Moreover, they said these Indian fishermen would be returned back to their country from Wagah border. They said the issue of these prisoners should be included in the agenda of recent Indo-Pak talks.
