Strongly criticising his deportation from Occupied Srinagar, Simranjit Singh Mann, President of Amritsar-based Sikh organisation, Shiromani Akali Dal, has decided to move the High Court of occupied Kashmir against the action.
Simranjeet Singh Mann, in a media interview to Jammu-based English daily, said that the denial of entry to civil liberty representatives in Kashmir valley is an attempt by the puppet authorities to hide the truth about the ground situation. This includes army brutalities under the garb of draconian laws including Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA), Kashmir Media Service reported on Tuesday.
He said Hurriyet leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Shabbir Ahmad Shah are the real representatives of Kashmir who have sacrificed a lot for the Kashmir cause. He said that on the directives of the puppet administration, he and other party leaders were house arrested for one day and served deportation orders in the evening. "When we refused to return back, the administration threatened to use force against us," he added. The Sikh leader said that it was the second time that he had been deported. Earlier, he was deported without any official notice in 2009 when he was going to Chattisinghporra.
Raising questions over the Chattisinghpora massacre, Mann revealed that the heinous crime was the handiwork of Indian Army. "The then US President, Bill Clinton had forwarded a written letter to the then secretary of state, Medeleine Albright in which he had mentioned that Chattisighpora massacre was the handiwork of Hindu terrorists," he said.
