The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Minister for Information, Mian Iftikhar, vowed that the government would take all possible measures for the protection of life and property of the masses, saying the ANP-party activists are on the hit-list of terrorists, but they will continue their sacrifice for protection of Pakhtuns' soil.
Talking to media persons, while visiting the grave of his son here on Sunday, he said that the demise of his son gave him a sign of courage. He said that the terrorists have failed to distract him from his peace mission.
Besides local administration, office-bearers of ANP and a large number of general masses were present on this occasion He said that the unannounced Word War-III had been imposed on this part of the region and vowed that they will take any possible step for the protection of Pakhtuns' soil.
Mian Ittikhar said that he considered every child like his son Shaheed Mian Rashid Hussain, if any youth martyred its means my son died.
He said that as a true follower of the icon of peace and non-violence Bacha Khan he and his party men are following the path of Imam Hussain and will never surrender before any Anti-state elements.
He pointed out that the workers and office-bearers of ANP are on the hit-list of the terrorists and over five hundred of their office-bearers have been martyred while the terrorists continue to indiscriminately targeting helpless people and national assets, including Ulema, intellectuals, politicians and spiritual leaders.
He pointed out that an unannounced 3rd world war has been imposed upon the Pakhtuns but vowed to continue their struggle for the protection of this nation and homeland at all cast.
