Five persons injured when a passenger van skidded down at the newly constructed Zero Point Interchange on Saturday morning, while the driver managed to escape from the scene The accident occurred due to over-speeding as the drive lost the control over machine and the vehicle turned turtle, which resulted in serious injuries to five persons.
The ill-fated mini-bus was en route to Pir Wadhai from Faisal Mosque, when it slipped and skidded down from the bridge at Zero Point Interchange, police sources said. The ambulance of Rescue 1122 and police reached the spot and started rescue and relief operation. They shifted the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where doctors stated condition of three passengers as critical. Aabpara Police has registered a case of the incident and begun search of the absconding driver.
