The prices of gold fell to Rs 50,900 per tola on Wednesday from the record high Rs 51,150 the other day, after the international prices of the yellow metal reduced to $1,587 an ounce, traders said.
The price of gold per 10-gram also went down to Rs 43,628 from the last all-time high level of Rs 43,842 during the one-day trading, traders said adding that they were selling gold under cost by Rs 500 per tola on the local market.
