Capital Police found a body of Asghar Ali from rainy nullah near Shakar Parrian on Tuesday morning while people were deprived of one car and one motorcycle during last 24 hours. Police busted a gang of motorcycle lifters, nabbed four persons for their alleged involvement in different crimes and foiled a bid to kidnap an adolescent from PIMS.
According to the details, Aabpara Police received information that a human body was lying in the rainy nullah near Chand Tara Chowk of Shakar Parrian and police took the body in possession and the deceased was identified as Asghar Ali. Police registered a case under section 302 against unknown murders and started investigation.
Margalla Police arrested a woman Zebu Putras who was allegedly trying to kidnap a baby from PIMS. The accused lady took away the child of Ghulam Murtaza, but the security guard foiled the bid and held the lady.
Industrial Area Police busted a gang of motorbike lifters and held two accused after recovery of two snatched motorcycles from their possession. The police have presented the accused before the court, and have also obtained their physical remand to get more information from hem.
The detained bike lifters were identified as Naimatullah Khan s/o Hawaldar Khan, a resident of Peshawar and Shakeel s/o Dildar resident of Sohan and two motorbikes Honda 125 bearing numbers RIK- 5267 and RIK 2998 from were recovered from them. The bikes have been identified by the complainants: Shaukat Haleem and Mudassar Ali.
Sabzi Mandi Police impounded a Toyota Land Cruiser bearing the registration No: KF-064, which was brought by Noor Hussain for forensic examination. During the examination the vehicle was found tampered and cut and weld. Police impounded the vehicle and registered a case against the owner.
Kohsar Police on a tip off, recovered 10 bottles of liquor from David Maseeh and a case has been registered against him and investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Islamabad Police said that the SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has commended the performance of police officers, and have also directed them to take all necessary steps to curb crimes.
He instructed all SHOs to boost patrolling in their respective jurisdictions and keep vigilance on suspicious persons. Protection of the lives and properties is the top priority of police, and negligence in this context would not be tolerated, he added.
