I take this opportunity to congratulate all individuals and institutions who received the Excellence Awards this year. The Excellence Awards from CFA Association of Pakistan are in their 8th year now and they have become an industry standard today and are sought after by commercial banks, brokerage houses & research analysts.
This program has gained so much popularity in the region that other societies in the Asia Pacific region as well as in the USA have also initiated such awards, replicating the process followed by CFA Pakistan. CFA Institute conferred CFA Pakistan "Innovation Award" among 135 competing societies in the world for initiating this program.
One of the key objectives of the Excellence Awards Program is to motivate the stakeholders in the capital markets of the country to improve upon their professional and ethical standards in their respective areas. Individuals and institutions participating in the awards program work hard throughout the year to excel in their work and take lead from their competition in winning the various awards conferred under this program.
CFA Pakistan would continue to work hard to enhance image of CFA program in Pakistan and encourage top employers to consider CFA's while making their hiring decision. I request and encourage members to actively participate in local events and activities held by the body.
