The Chairman Global Institute Lahore, Muhammad Kashif Khan, has thanked the chairperson Higher Education Commission, Dr Javaid Laghari for enlisting the name of GIL on the HEC website reflecting names of chartered universities/degree awarding institutes in the public and private sectors of the country.
He was presiding over a meeting of senior faculty members and administrative officials at the Institute's city campus in New Garden Town here on Monday.
The Chairman also expressed his sincere thanks to the HEC Executive Director Dr S. Sohail H Naqvi and Director General Accreditation, Rahim Bux Channa for the enlistment. He said the Punjab government has already chartered the Global as a degree awarding institute. Over the last 15 years, our eminent faculty and education of the highest quality have enabled the GIL to establish a record of academic excellence among educational institutions of the Lahore city. -PR
