Pakistan swimming team leaves for China

The Pakistan swimming team left for China on Monday to participate in the 14th FINA World Swimming Championship. The tournament began on July 16 and will go till July 31. The team received no objection certificates (NoC) by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Monday for participation in the event.
Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF), Secretary Majid Wasim told APP on Monday that this event will definitely prove fruitful and will also be helpful for qualifying for the Olympics," he said. Majid said he is optimistic that the team would bring laurels to the country adding that the PSF is doing all efforts to encourage swimming in the country.
