With a view to promote creativity and innovation among youngsters, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science-Nust has organised a two-week workshop titled 'EXYLENT'-Exploring Young Leaders Natural Talent. The inaugural ceremony of the workshop was held at the university's main campus, here on Monday.
At the workshop, various famous Pakistani scientists deliver lectures to the participants. Moreover, students also visit various places and avail the opportunity to acquaint themselves with different state-of-the art technologies.
SEECS-Nust has been holding the workshop annually since 2008. The event provides a forum to the young whereby they exploit their potential and come up with innovative ideas. Students are at liberty in performing tasks assigned to them. Successful completion of the tasks arouses a sense of accomplishment among students as well as inspires them to develop know-how of sophisticated technologies. The best performers will be awarded cash prizes on the concluding day of the workshop.-PR
