The fourth session of the 'Youth Leadership Development Programme 2011 on entrepreneurship, was organised by All Pakistan Memon Federation (APMF) Education Board at the National Museum on Sunday. Imran Azeem, Training Manager, Shell Livewire Trust explained the concept of entrepreneurship and need of planned, well thought-out entrepreneurship as a value added activity in the economical development of any country.
He shared the five tips to be the successful entrepreneur ie getting started, big idea, start small, face the challenges and has a back-up plan. The session was then continued by the panel discussion with successful community leaders including Arif Habib, the Chairman Arif Habib Investment, Dr Miftah Ismail, Director, Ismail Industries, Asif Ismail, President Memon Professional Forum, Khalid Bilwani and Haroon Qassim, Chairman, Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.
Arif Habib highlighted his journey of success as an inspiration to the community youth. Dr Miftah advised the prospective entrepreneurs to have clear vision and set a roadmap to initiate a business expedition. The panel discussion was led by Ashraf Bawany. In addition, Muhammad Yousuf Adil Chairman APMF-Education Board, Abdul Razzak Vayani, Hanif Jakhura, Mahmood Parekh, Majeed Abdani, Altaf Bawany and Shabbir Bilwani also attended the programme.-PR
