Ansar Burney may become new Sindh Governor

President Asif Ali Zardari is likely to announce the independent and non-political Governor of Sindh province within the next two weeks, to run the affairs of Sindh. It has learnt here from most reliable sources that the top leadership has indicated to accept the resignation of Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and may request to Ansar Burney to become the new Governor of Sindh.
The sources said that world renowned Pakistani human rights activist Ansar Burney, is so far the most probable candidate for the Governor Sindh slot.
Ansar Burney is the recipient of 'Sitar-e-Imtiaz' first civil/national award in the history of Pakistan in the field of Human Rights.
