Acting Governor of Sindh, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, has urged the administration to enhance patrolling in the violence hit areas of the metropolis and undertake effective steps for the protection of the lives and property of the people. In a statement here on Friday, he expressed concern over the growing incidents of violence in Karachi. Nisar Khuhro also expressed sorrow and grief at the loss of innocent lives.
He said that maintenance of the supremacy of law was the prime responsibility of the government and of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs). The Acting Governor said that action against miscreants and saboteurs should be taken without any distinction. He also appealed to the people to foster the spirit of unity and brotherhood. Nisar Khuhro also asked the people to help the administration in identification of the miscreants. He said, "It is our collective duty to respect the human lives."
