PIA's 333rd Board of Directors meeting was held at PIA Head Office, Karachi, on Friday. The Board considered and approved 20 percent increase in the salary of employees in PG I to IV in Admin category and 10 percent increase in salary of officers in PG V to IX in Admin category and officers engineering. The Board was updated on implementation of its past decisions. The Board deliberated upon different other matters having strategic importance.
The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Mukhtar, Minister for Defence and Chairman of PIA, and was attended by Nadeem Khan Yousufzai, Managing Director PIA, Javed Akhtar, Lieutenant General (Retd) Athar Ali, Federal Secretary Defence, Ijaz ul Hassan, Dr Waqar Masood Khan, Federal Secretary Finance Husain Lawai and Yousaf Waqar.-PR
