Education is one of the top priorities of the government. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Finance, Syed Murad Ali Shah during his visit to Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) here, says a statement on Friday. Murad Ali Shah said that SMI is a pioneer institution of modern education in the region.
He also assured support to the SMI and informed that the charter of the Sindh Madressah University would be placed before the forthcoming session of the Sindh Assembly for passage. The Minister further pointed out that the past glory of the institution would be restored. He informed that the Sindh government considers education as a key to development. Earlier, the Principal of SMI College, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, presented the welcome address. The Minister also visited the Fine Arts Gallery and Jinnah Museum at the SMI.
