Missing person's case: Interior, defence secretaries given a week to submit reports
Justice Javed Iqbal, a senior judge of the Supreme Court on Thursday, conducted hearing of a missing person case in his chamber where Federal Interior and Defence secretaries appeared and submitted their reports.
Amna, wife of Masood Janjua who is missing since 2007, had contended in the regular hearing of the missing person case on June 29 that her spouse was alive after which the SC summoned the Interior and Defence secretaries to appear before Justice Javed Iqbal in his chamber to inform on the whereabouts of Masood Janjua.
While talking to the median persons at the premises of SC building after in-chamber hearing Amna Masood Janjua said, "I cannot share the information of in-chamber proceedings but hopeful on the development where one week has been given to both secretaries to submit the reports."
