'Pakistan's Golden Thrones': Argentine embassy arranges book launching

The embassy of Argentine has arranged a book launching pertaining to "Pakistan's Golden Thrones", an Argentine journey written by Tommy Heinrich, on Monday. Pakistan's first biotech pharmaceutical manufacturing company, BF Bioscience Limited in collaboration with the Embassy of Argentina has commissioned the book of photographs.
In his remarks, Tommy Heinrich, an Argentine mountaineer and photographer for National Geographic Magazine said the book is not only a book of pictures but also reflect the feelings of Argentina and a tribute to Pakistan. While combining his mountain climbing with photography, the pictures he made in Pakistan were mostly from the Northern Areas. "My book is for information sharing of my experience as a climber and photographer", he said. He said the people of Pakistan gave him distrust looks at first time but open their hearts later. This affection forced him to take a journey of northern areas to explore the beauty of nature as a mountaineer and photographer, he added. Meanwhile, Argentine Embassy termed the book Pakistan's Golden Thrones to commemorate the 60th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between Argentina and Pakistan. Ambassador of the Argentina Republic, Rodolfo Martin Saravia informed the audience that Argentina had been celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations with Pakistan. The embassy has been organising several events to mark the occasion and the launching of this book reinforced their motives of celebration. He also announced to host a reception in October as celebration. He said, "We were trying to put the relationship between the two countries closer in the past and like to continue these efforts in the future".
The chief guest, Chairman Capital Development Authority Imtiaz Imayat Elahi said the book is enriched with the beautiful landscapes of Pakistan and expressed hope that the author would provide, not only Pakistanis but whole world, the beauty of northern areas of Pakistan.
Osman Khalid Waheed, President Ferozsons Laboratories Ltd of Pakistan admired the efforts of Argentinean artist in travelling and composing the image of Pakistan's beauty on one place. He said," The book, an Argentinean's tribute to Pakistan, not only provides a fitting commemoration for this Pak-Argentine collaboration, but also serves as a beautiful and timely reminder that despite its current challenges, Pakistan remains one of the world's most beautiful destinations". Former Education Minister, Sardar Aseff Ali said the book bridged the geographical distance between two countries. "We wonder the writer of the book is the ambassador to Argentina in Pakistan or Pakistan's ambassador to Argentina," he added.
