Government has announced third phase for repatriation of IDPs of South Waziristan Agency, here on Monday. Talking to reporters, Assistant Political Agent Ladha Sub-Division Nawab Khan Saafi said that the registration of IDPs for 3rd phase will commence from June 16 to run until 21st, 2011 while return of the dislocated people would take place from June 28 to 30th of this month.
He said that the IDPs of Gharlama, Ganara Kuch, Khaisora, Saaghar Langar Khel, Harhy Tangay of Sara Roga tehsil would be registered and repatriated under government arrangements. Saafi said that the registration centre for IDPs would be opened at political compound Tank. Besides food packets, free transport, six months ration and Rs 25,000/- cash and tent would also be provided to the returning IDPs.
