The High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has demanded independent and impartial international probe into the killing of over 120 people in last year's unrest in the occupied Valley.
"Since there is denial of institutional justice in these cases and the state is not interested at all in bringing the culprits to book, as such independent and impartial international probe deserves to do justice with the victims and their families," HCBA spokesman said after a meeting here. The Bar also appealed to the international community to intervene and exercise their efforts in bringing the culprits to justice and protect the honour, dignity, life and property of the people of the J&K.
"HCBA calls upon the government of India to release unconditionally all the political prisoners have been arrested and detained under PSA by the authorities for their participation in protests against the killing of Tufail Matoo, Wamiq Farooq and others."
