In an attempt to make the federal capital crime-free, a high level reshuffle was made in the Capital Police, well-placed sources in Islamabad Police revealed to this scribe here on Friday. Nine Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank officers have been transferred and were assigned new assignments, sources added.
Faisal Bashir Memon ASP and Sub-Division Police Officer (SDPO), City was transferred to Cabinet from City Circle of the Capital Police, they said, adding that Dr Khalil Ahmed ASP was appointed as SDPO City Circle. Rizwan Umer Gondal ASP awaiting posting was posted as SDPO, Margalla, while Khurshid Ahmad Khan, DSP/SDPO, Margalla was transferred and posted as SDPO/Shahzad Town. DSP Arshad Ali Khokhar, SDPO Shahzad Town was transferred to Central Police Office (CPO).
Shakir Ahmed Shahid ASP was appointed as SDPO Secretariat, while Captain Rana Tahir (Retd) was posted as ASP Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS). Habibullah Khan, DSP, transferred and posted as DSP Special Services Group (SSG), while Zahida Parveen, DSP Women Police was transferred to CPO.
