Five killed as jeep falls into ravine

Five persons were killed when a jeep fell into a deep ravine near Kargah on Thursday. District administration spokesman Shahid Ali told APP that the jeep was on its way from Kargah to Gilgit when the driver lost control of the vehicle while taking a sharp turn and fell into the ravine, killing six passengers on the spot.
Five other persons, boarded in the jeep, were still stranded in the ravine with minor injuries, while rescue operations were also underway till filing of this report.
