PHC Chief Justice transfers 15 judicial officers

The Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court (PHC), Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan on Thursday posted and transferred 15 judicial officers in the interest of public service with immediate effect. Shah Jehan Khan, District and Sessions Judge (D&SJ)/Zilla Qazi Swat has been transferred/posted to DI Khan, replacing D&SJ Muhammad Ayub Khan who was transferred to Swat, said a Peshawar High Court press release on Thursday.
Sharif Ahmed, D&SJ Swabi was transferred to Buner against vacant post while Khwaja Wajihuddin, D&SJ Battagram to Swabi. Fazal Subhan, Additional District and Session Judge (AD&SJ) Karak was posted as district and session judge Karak on promotion.
Shahid Khan, AD&SJ/additional register Abbottabad bench on promotion was transferred to Shangla as D&SJ/Zila Qazi against vacant post while Khrushid Iqbal, AD&SJ/AMIT-I/Acting Director General KPK Judicial Academy was transferred from Peshawar High Court to Kohistan, as D&SJ on promotion. Likewise, Muhammad Bashir, AD&SJ was posted as D&SJ Hangu on promotion while Ms Farah Jamshed, AD&SJ Peshawar was posted as D&SJ Nowshera on promotion against vacant post.
Inamullah Khan, AD&SJ was posted as D&SJ Charsadda on promotion while Muhammad Yunis-II, AD&SJ Hangu was transferred to Peshawar High Court as OSD on promotion. Muhammad Farhatullah Khan, AD&SJ Takht Bhai Mardan was transferred to Peshawar High Court as OSD while Muhammad Sabir, AD&SJ Buner was posted as AD&SJ Takht Bhai Mardan.
Likewise, Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi, AD&SJ Shangla was posted AD&SJ Hangu while Raiz Ahmed, AD&SJ Peshawar was transferred and posted as Additional Register Peshawar High Court Abbottabad bench. The order said the tour of district and sessions judge/Zila Qazi for ten days in a month to Batagram will continue while D&SJ/Zila Qazi Kohistan shall look after the administrative work as well as urgent judicial matters pertaining to the court of district and sessions judge Battagram till further orders.
The district and sessions judge Peshawar should distribute the urgent civil and criminal cases, especially of under trial prisoners pertaining to the court of Farah Jamshed, Additional District and Sessions Judge and Faiz Ahmed, Additional district and session judge amongst other courts of competent jurisdiction keeping in view the pendency.
