British politicians kick-started their probe into the Financial Services Authority''s delayed public account of the near-failure of Royal Bank of Scotland during the credit crisis. The cross-party Treasury Select Committee on Wednesday formally unveiled its terms of reference for its review into the FSA''s probe into RBS''s failings, which culminated in Britain having to bail out the bank and take an 83 percent stake in RBS.
