50pc Pakistani feels freedom to join political party

ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan 50 percent of Pakistanis feel their freedom, to join any political party, has risen during the last ten years.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked

"In the last 10 years, freedom to join any political party has increased, decreased or has there been no difference?" Responding to this 50 percent think that the freedom to join any political party has increased, 22 percent think that it has decreased whereas 26 percent think that there has been no difference since last 10 years. However 2 percent did not give a view.
