RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 20,375.67 points with a positive change of 108.26 and volume of 83,480,100 shares. High and Low were 20,460.18 and 20,162.03 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 5 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 117,709,810 shares. Total companies traded were 358 of which 257 were positive, 80 were negative and 21 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,175,300 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 15,346,000 shares.
