The Swiss franc on Thursday hit its highest point against the dollar since last month but it may weaken as it emerges once more as investors' favoured currency for funding carry trades. The franc rose 0.4 against the dollar compared to the New York close, trading at 0.8931 per dollar at 0806 GMT, after hitting 0.8892, its highest against the dollar since March 17, when it hit 0.8852 according to EBS.
The franc was flat against the euro at 1.2941 per euro.
